Program Description:
The CIEE Scholarships provided to UNT to award have varying award deadlines and are reviewed on a rolling basis. Students are encouraged to submit applications early to be considered for all CIEE Scholarship opportunities. Students may also apply for additional scholarship funding directly through CIEE.

Spring 2018 Open Campus Grants

UNT has been provided six (6) $5,000 grants to award to UNT students to study on a 3 block CIEE Open Campus Program for the Spring 2018 semester.  Students will study from January 8 - May 12, 2018 (18 weeks) at up to three of the six open campus programs to earn 18 hours of credit.  Students must have a least a 2.75 GPA at UNT. The following Global Institute Open Campus programs are available: Once selected students must start both UNT study abroad program application and application with CIEE by September 30, 2017*
*Cape Town and Madrid Open Campuses have earlier application deadlines.  

Please note that the $5,000 CIEE Open Campus Grant is provided as a credit to the CIEE Open Campus Program Fee of $17,850.  In other words, the CIEE Program Fee will be reduced to $12,850.  Additional financial aid and scholarships available for eligible students.

Application Deadlines

Applications for the Spring 2018 Open Campus Grants are due by 11:59pm CST on Friday, September 15, 2017. 

Students will receive notification of their scholarship status (awarded or not awarded via the UNT email address that is listed in their profile withing the UNT Study Abroad portal.
